Smart tiles I hear are best peel & stick. Can't use ceramic tiles mainly weight and grout would crack with movement of motorhome. will be using on my 32DS.
If you're looking for a quick solution, I went to Home Depot and grabbed a pair of pre-cut copper sheets that keep oven grease and splatters off of the adjacent woodwork. Goop-em up with clear silicone to make them stick to the wall. Easy to clean after cooking. FYI, I also ran a bead of clear sealant along the wall and countertop joints to ensure that water wouldn't seep into the wood and blister the countertops from the side or rear.

Here is what the Home Depot 12" by 24" pre-cut copper sheets
look like when installed next to the stove. I don't know what the
tile grout or textured wall would look like after time and multiple
splatters. I prefer a quick cleanup solution.
