HID headlights?

I've read some complaints about the visibility at night on these models. Has anyone here added HID kits to their rig? Does anyone know the bulb sizes?

Do you have 2 or 4 headlights. For those that have 4 headlights (low & high) there is another option. Not many have heard of HIR headlights but they are much brighter than normal headlights. they produce no glare and make sign posts really reflective. The only thing you need to do is clip the tabs with a set of nail clippers to match the ones your are replacing.

9005: 1700 lumens
9011: 2300 lumens

9006: 1000 lumens
9012: 1800 lumens

Been running these in my Jeep for 5 years now.

We upgraded the headlamps on our 2016 to HID. To get bulb size I got under the coach and pulled out the existing lamp. It's a simple twist lock style. We just bought HID for the fog lamps but have not installed. We went with the 6000K

Yes we have the single round headlights. Purchased the HID lamps off amazon. We purchased Kensun H9 and H11 with 6000k rating. I believe the H9 was for the headlights. They work well.

I'm confused about this post.
I have a 2016 28DS and it has the single round headlights on each side. I'm pretty sure they are already Xenon HIDs, right? Or are they just halogens posing as HIDs? They look the same as the Xenon HIDs on our cars, minus the on the fly adjustments they make when you go up hill or make turns. I've never noticed our 28DS's lights moving when you go around a corner or make a turn.

Ours were halogens and to me, not bright enough for evening or night driving. Have been very happy with the 6k HIDs

Did you need an HID conversion kit?

Nope. We bought the Kensun brand off Amazon. Everything was included. Was literally plug and play.
