I would like to cut a hole in the floor

We would like to install a table between the captain seats of our 2015 30 ds ... it entails a keyhole cut through the floor.. do anyone know what the floors maw of or how deep we can cut without hitting vitals

You can get surface mount and flush mount devices for the round table legs. The surface mount only requires 3/4" screws. The flush mount will require a 2 1/4" hole saw about 2" deep, this may be problematic if you don't know what is underneath. Hope this helps.

The floors are 1.625” thick. 1/2” of OSB on top. 1/8” or 3/16” Luan on bottom with foam in between.

Know where your tanks are before drilling past the thickness of the floor. You could start with a 1/8” hole making sure not to go past clearing the floor then use 12g electric wire to probe. If it goes past the distance you need then bend it to make sure nothing is within the diameter needed.

Colorful, could you just open the dog house and look? Perhaps with a mirror. Or is it blocked?
