You can get surface mount and flush mount devices for the round table legs. The surface mount only requires 3/4" screws. The flush mount will require a 2 1/4" hole saw about 2" deep, this may be problematic if you don't know what is underneath. Hope this helps.

The floors are 1.625” thick. 1/2” of OSB on top. 1/8” or 3/16” Luan on bottom with foam in between.

Know where your tanks are before drilling past the thickness of the floor. You could start with a 1/8” hole making sure not to go past clearing the floor then use 12g electric wire to probe. If it goes past the distance you need then bend it to make sure nothing is within the diameter needed.

Colorful, could you just open the dog house and look? Perhaps with a mirror. Or is it blocked?

All that being said, I would still go with a surface mount table leg base...

That has been clear from the start. But in relation to that question and very much on-topic, just trying to help out, other options were given, which could help other forum members with similar and related questions.

Must be a blast to camp next to you.

But this is not your table not your Rv and not your post...

Look I’m kidding with you in one way, but another way... I’m trying to stay on topic about the floor... I’m sure tons of people would like to know what’s under that floor and not so many are worried about what you want for a table post.

As for camping near me... I would give people a chance to speak and not dominate a conversation with what I want.

My brother gave me a lighted USB scope camera that plugs in my phone... It is great. I drill a small hole wherever and then I know what is behind or below. Little hole 3/8" easily covered if it is a no go.
RV diagrams are non existent for the most part because nothing is ever guaranteed to be in the same place.

Table in between the front seats... I would measure & visualize where the cut would be, then take the engine cover off and look & measure underneath through the engine cover hole and make sure that area is clear. If it's free UNDER the floor you'll be good to go, as there is nothing IN the floor.

yep, a blast

Why do you prefer to cut instead of top-mount, if I please may ask, Maybe we can all learn something from it, and have some fun while doing it

Because we have disabilities and we don’t need a three inch protruding object sticking out of the floor..
