install ac in bedroom fr3

I am thinking of adding a second ac on my

2016 FR 3 in the bedroom. Wondering if the roof will support it?

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. If you can walk on the roof without it giving way it will support an AC unit, the bigger question is do you have power to that location and is there already a 14X14 opening?

Most FR units by Georgetown are pre-wired for a second A/C in the ceiling vent in the bedroom. If you take down the trim from the inside you can probably see if yours is. There are roof trusses and usually one on each side of the ceiling vents to support A/C units.

The 2017 brochure shows a 2nd A/C as an option. If you have 50 amp service you are pretty much there.

People have also added a 2nd a/c unit to the bedroom with just the 30amp service. However they have run a separate line (15 amp) which they have to plug into the RV Park pedestal separately.
