Congrats from Illinois (actually in Florida right now)! We are on our second trip in our 2016 FR3 30DS. Our first trip was 3,400 miles out west to Arizona and Utah. After our first trip, HOWARD went into the dealer for a couple minor issues. Then, I had my husband do the following:
1. CHF (cheap handling fix)
2. Safe-T-Plus steering stablizer
3. Fantastic fan
I feel a lot more comfortable driving now! We're not using the fan yet in Florida, only the AC. So far, the AC is working just fine with outside temps in the mid 90s.
We really enjoy ours; it's our first motorhome so we have nothing to compare. Our third trip will be at the end of August when we head to Wyoming!

Congrats also from Il. We also on our maiden trip went to Shipshewana Indiana. Did CHF before we left and it handles pretty good although the the roads in northern Indiana are very ruff so we going to do the new shocks in the near future. Everything else seams to be in good shape. Very happy with our purchase. In joy your 4th.
