King to Queen conversion

We decided to take out the Kind bed and go with a queen to gain extra storage and interior space in bedroom.

I'm not understanding how this gave more storage? Elaborate? Better pic maybe?

So you really just created more walking space. I've considered putting cabinets under the front facing side of the bed. After seeing how much space is in there I think I will!

I can't give up the king though. With two dogs at 50# and the one getting bigger by the day there's no way I could do it.

This looks like a great idea! Are you now able to walk around the bed on both sides? Is there storage under the bed?

Did it too.

Cut mine down on my Blue Ridge 5th wheel the day we brought it home, and installed a real queen size mattress.

HAHA we had ours build from the factory with a Queen Bed

And as for dogs...well we loved ours (may he RIP) but at 145LBS, there was no way that Ridgeback was getting on the bed--regardless of size - he learned about doggie beds

We gained storage under edge of bed entering room and about a foot of walking space in entrance to bedroom. Can't walk on other side because of basement storage.
