Kwikee step switch not working

My 25 step series step works when you open / close the door but switch when flipped makes no difference the strip still works the same. RV came back from dealer when I discovered it. Also the blue light isn't on in the switch which leads me to believe there is a fuse somewhere for the switch which is what the owners manual says but here is the question where is this 6 amp fuse located on the DS25 RV. I've looked all over short of cutting the cable tie holding a big way of wires by the motor underneath. Any one come across this?

In the battery compartment above the batteries you will find a black box marked "battery control box". Carefully open the box cover and inside you will find a 5 amp fuse marked "esp". This is the fuse that controls the step switch.
