Leak!

Hi new RV'er and owner here. Just picked up my '17 30DS last week and haven t taken it anywhere but my driveway as of yet. Went out to put something in the coach The other day and discovered there was a water trail leading from the front corner of the bathroom wall back towards the bedroom. Note I have not hooked up to any water at all with the exception of the walk-through at the dealer when I picked it up. I looked and could not see a water trail coming from the side wall between the slide and the wall. Note I have not hooked up to any water at all with the exception of the walk-through at the dealer when I picked it up. I looked and could not see a water trail coming from the slide wall between the slide and the Bathroom wall. Took it to the dealer so they could take a look and try to figure it out but I am at a loss here. I highly doubt it’s something extensive as the unit had been sitting on their lot and they say they go through them routinely to check them out for leaks and such. I’m hoping that a leaf or something got stuck between the wall and the seal for the slide or something like that. The only thing I’ve done to it so far is put vent covers on roof and I looked around up there when I was up there and didn’t see anything looked out of sorts. Has anyone had any issue Like this and if so what was the cause. Thanks for your help

Yes it was just after a rain, the slides were in and I always let the motor slow so I know it’s fully retracted. But also it’s been on their lot for a while I’m sure. So it should have leaked before,

The dealer told me that the repair takes 12 hours on longer if there is a leak they have to wait for the wood to dry. The cap rail on the top will be replaced with a wider one to correct the problem.

I also received a letter. I have already talked to a local dealer and he said he would have to order a repair kit.

Please check your VIN on Forest River search for recalls.

I check my VIN and it came back with:
"Service Bulletin 68-0488 Georgetown & FR3 Roof Leak With Sealant Issue"
