Linen and pantry closet organization-storage

I picked up my 2015 25DS in July 2014. Being new to the RV world, I didn't think much about the no shelves in the closets, I could always improvise. After trying stand alone shelves and hurricane straps, hanging sweater and shoes compartments, I was frustrated with the amount of wasted space. I scoured many of the RV forums for ideas on storage solutions and came up mostly empty. That pantry is huge! (and lacking studs/braces).

In October I started drawing up plans for lightweight shelves and a frame system that could be attached inside the closet but function as studs needed to attach shelves. I think I stared at those empty closets for hours.

I ended up building frames of 1x3 (aspen wood?) to attach the rubbermaid wire shelves and then attached the frame to the inside of the closet with extreme liquid nail and small screws. So this is what I ended up with. I feel like I have more room to hide the food from the chow hounds and clothes/essentials.

I'm still on the prowl for a bench-like product to have between the driver and passenger seats that my middle size dog can use when she wants to co-pilot.

Hi everyone, thank you for the feedback and the suggestion on the bench (I'm definitely going to have to look at that!).

As far as the clothes and coats, so far we haven't needed/brought anything to hang (we've only done the beach, hiking, and amusement parks). My daughter uses the drawer under the pantry for her clothes (jeans, shorts, shirts, sweatshirts). My husband and I will probably just fold everything as well. The good thing about the rubbermaid wire shelves in the larger closet is I can move/remove shelves and I could always add the hanger rod if needed. Off to the left there is a good amount of space under the shelf if something must be hung (I think that shelf is 18" long). I'm currently trying the piano hinge, cutout under one of the dinette benches (as seen in one of the FR forums) for dirty clothes (in addition to being a copilot my middle dog is a sock thief!).

We are in the process of trying to design shelf storage for our broom/coat closet by the entry door. We need kitchen pantry storage but don't want to give up closet space in the bedroom.
Has anyone else tackled this? If so, would love to see pics of the finished product. The challenge is that the left rear corner is not square. Assuming there must be wires in the space behind that corner of the closet.

This looks exactly like what we had in mind. Very nice finished look. Did you stain raw wood or find the shelf material already finished? Thanks for posting the pic.

We used pre finished cherry shelving from Lowes and then edged them with a mahogany edge. We used library brackets, also from Lowes.

Jersey that looks great! Thanks for sharing. My wife says I'm not handy enough to do the shelves but I'm going to show her

3BadDogs and JerseyGuy did beautiful jobs with their closet/pantry mods! In the 2304 KS (which we don't have yet, but want), it looks like there are pantry shelves, but in the pix we've found, we can't tell how they're done or how easy it would be to add more. Does anyone have experience with that model?

Hi. Did you have any trouble applying the extreme liquid nail? Mine didn't adhere very well. The linen closet is fine but the bigger cabinet isn't. Did you scuff the finish any? Any suggestions?
