I had the dealer put in the table stand for the very questions you have. I made the actual table but they drilled the hole, mounted the stand and I took it from there.

I saw the Georgetown's had a table between the captains chairs and wondered why ours don't. It's not very functional when driving as it shakes a bit but once you're stopped, it's used a lot. Don't remember how much they charged me but it was worth it.

Little add-ons

Removable table top stores behind the driver seat. Small table (target) stores in bedroom during travel.

Bought at Lowes, they have different colors. $100 for the pack and that is enough to do the backsplash.

Thanks for the inspiration!

I just recently joined the forum. We purchased our '16 FR3 30DS @ the Pomona show this fall. Had to have some repairs done (yep, already!) and just got 'er home. Can't wait to start making some mods. So, needless to say, I'm in love with this thread. LOVE all the mods y'all have made and am incredibly inspired!

Hi, FPO1123. While scrolling through the pics on this thread, I noticed you and another '16 30DS owner had photos that included what looks like a stereo console or something similar on the side panel of the "broom closet", above your message board. I'm so curious, what is that? Ours didn't come with anything installed there, did y'all add that?

Top favorite mods we'll be making ourselves:
- Shelves to turn broom closet into pantry
- Shelf added to kitchen and bath cabinet
- Backsplash in kitchen and bath
- Dash support
- Sliding drawer/baskets in storage space under booth seat

I would LOVE to install the central vac! We'll have our two cats in tow, so that vac would be amazing. Definitely something I will explore further.

Sorry to ramble, but I have one more thing to share. I noticed a few people talking about and showing fixes for the bunk magnets (overcab or elsewhere). Our bunk dropped (just that little bit before the motor's req'd, thankfully) while we were driving our rig home from the dealer. Turns out the metal casing was too high and it didn't allow for complete and constant contact between magnets. We had the dealer fix it. They shaved the metal down and now it's super secure - as it should've been in the first place.
