Little add-ons

Put one of those handles on the screen door. Looks nice and the door feels much more sturdy. Also replaced black door slider with a clear slider. a lot more light through door now and also more sturdy than flimsy factory slide.Click image for larger version

These handles makes a HUGE difference. Everyone who uses our door wants to put one on their own camper.

b1 I'd sure like to know more about that handle so you don't have to open the slide on the screen door..

The Lippert Screen Handle Knob is a lot easier to use than those little ones.

Yes that is a better design as long as your door handle is in the right place.

Mine was not and communicating with them my option was remake the screen door or go with the cheaper one. I picked the latter.

B1 how's that dash stabilizer work? Is that the answer to the shaky dash? What's holding it in place?
Thanks for the info.

Also what's your design about adding more water with out adding a bigger tank? In your pic I see a blue water jug with a hose coming out of it into the water heater compartment..

The stabilizer is just an "I" of 1 x 6. Under the dash is a flat piece of wood that FR puts in to hold the front of the dash. The "I" sits on top of the engine cover and wedges under the FR board. I lifted the dash while my most trusting wife put the "I" in. No more bounce and just reverse the lift to take it out.

It is wedged just enough to take the bounce out..

the hose is the hose you use to winterize the motorhome and just turn the valve

I use the hose that is used to fill the system with RV antifreeze, (after cleaning of course). Put the hose in water container and turn the knob so it pulls from the container. If dry camping for more than three days we bring two 5 gallon container with just case. FYI, I remove the cover to the water compartment in summer for easy access. It works just like pulling water from the main tank, but at 5 gallons it goes fast.

Where did you get the entry light and the cup holders. Was just commenting on lack of holder while on the couch..

Like the back splash and the night light. Where did you get the night light?

Would like to find some lights that can be dimmed, if anyone has suggestions..

Nice touches...

Little add-ons

Entry lite from Amazon. Full krum 20031 motion sensor porch light A bit pricey at $20.00
But the fact that I didn't have to run wires to it and it was two small screws to mount and its a fully swivel head was worth it.

Plug in the socket night light in the bathroom is light sensitive only comes on at dark. Walmart. The blue undercounted lights were left over from when I added led strip under the awning. My 2014 early model did not have those. They are cheap led rolls that come on what looks like an 8mm film reel (Dating myself). Wired them up into the TV cabinet and could have used the AC adapter but chose instead to connect to dc found in he rats nest of wires behind the radio stereo DVD player. That's where I picked up the power for the led voltage display too.

Storage nets for power down bed were EZ net 1011212k. Amazon

Net that fit perfect in the bathroom box was Map pocket by Britta Products.

Wooden cup holder ones are from ebay. Search for "Adirondack chair cup holder." They are wooden and have an extended lip on them that made them easy to mount over the headboard and with a small piece of tin screwed on that tab I was able to slide the tin in between the seat and trim of the dinette making no holes. The color is a good match. Also try Highwood screw on cup holder color Acorn.

The plastic flip down and fold cup holders are listed everywhere. Ebay and Amazon. I've seen them at Walmart too.

Working on adding 2 100 w solar panels this week.

If I were to add up all the stuff I have added to this I might have been able to buy that diesel pusher after all. (Kidding it's not close).

Love this thread... Working on the under seat storage now. Put the shelves in the pantry by the door about 2 days after I got my unit. Looking for the screen door handle now...
