LP Regulator Venting - Help

Hi guys could use some help here if anyone knows about 2 stage regulators in an FR3.

Brand new FR3 and new RV'er too. We were out and about today without any issues as far as I can tell. When we shut her down for the night, I noticed the hissing sound of leaking gas. I went to the LP tank removed the regulator cover. Putting my hand underneath, gas was coming out. I turned it off at the source.

From some videos it sounds like the regulator vents gas through the bottom hole. So what is going on, did I do something incorrectly, or is something broken. What causes gas to vent out of the bottom of the regulator?

I had the same issue and found it wasn't coming from the regulator .. The hissing sound was coming from the tank itself .. Look on the side of the valve on your tank . There was a screw on the side of the valve that I tightened and the tank stopped hissing . No problems since.
