Main Slide motor replaced

Just got my motor and gear replaced!
Took about 2 hours (with slide in) to remove the motor and push the slide out. Then, using a tire jack and lots of wood stack, installed a couple stands to hold it up while out.
Took two weeks to get the part. An other two hours for them to install the new parts and correct the cables for moving it out and back.
Liberty RV Services in Tucson Arizona did a great job!

How old was your RV before the motor needed replacing? Ours is a 2016 30DS, and the main slide-out started making a clunking noise after extending the slide-out maybe 20 times. The dealer is replacing it next week under warranty.

My 2015 30DS was 9 mos old when I had the main slide motor and gear box replaced. Even though the bedroom slide was OK at the time, Forest River at my request sent the dealer a replacement motor and gear box for it also and was replaced as a courtesy preventative maintenance.
