Microwave hood light over stove

I replaced the incandescent bulb over the stove top with a led bulb ordered thru Walmart . The cost was $9.00 for two bulbs. The

The bulb is super white & much brighter than the orig bulb.

We did the same. We also replaced the light in the frig. Found it was so hot that it was actually raising the temp.

I'm no expert but isn't it supposed to turn off when you shut the fridge door?

It does. But with 3 teenage girl .........., try it ...I was amazed myself. Open the door. Leave it open for 30 seconds and touch the bulb. Even with the cover be ready to run your fingers under cold water. I did not believe my wife when she told me. But it's true

Didn't think of that. Have three pre-teen granddaughters and OMG(as they would say). When I was a kid, I would get my bottom side chewed out for leaving that door open. Nowadays they could give a rats hiney

I just ordered a set from Amazon, and I will replace the Fridge light as soon as I pull the bulb and match it to a nice LED.
