Modification ideas

While mounting my GPS on the mirror on the underside of the drop down bunk, I broke the mirror!

Since I found the mirror useless anyway, I am looking for any ideas how to use that space .

I thought of cork board but feel I will be showered with pins every time I hit a bump.

Thanks in advance

Maybe a small dry eraser board?

I broke mine too 1.5 years ago. Still haven't replaced it.

We purposely broke our middle mirror! It was worthless!

Instead, we put in 3 fabric covered cork boards. The backer is 1/2" foam board that is velcro'd in with that large sized velcro. After assembling the boards be sure to use plenty of velcro so that it stays in place!

To assemble:
Over the backer boards we sprayed adhesive to adhere the cork, placed a thin batting over that and then stapled fabric (just a decorative touch) by stapling on the back side of the backer board.
We use standard push pins to put pictures up and they stayed in there just fine.

We just got back from a 2000 mile trip with no pushpins on our heads and I love glancing up and seeing those amazing kids!
