More 2015 changes?

I want to go green(solar) on my 2015 25DS. I need it to be portable. No roof install, and I have a budget of 1,000 dollar budget for this project that I want to install myself.

On my 2015 30DS - there is a switch for the 16' LED strip next to the awning. It replaces a door night light I guess. Bad feature though - in addition to turning on the LED strip, it also turns on bright LED lights on the front of the coach. Very annoying if you are parked facing a campfire full of people. And IMHO, a waste of power. I covered the headlights on a recent trip to avoid nasty comments like turn your headlights off. Dealer told me it's not a wiring mistake, so now I have to figure out where to cut the wires.

Didn't you get a key to lock your front grill? We did on the 2015 30DS.

Yes (assuming you are responding to the grill key post)

We fixed the light issue by separating the wire coming from the LED lights at the front from the awning lights. I added a separate rocker switch for the awning lights, mounting it by the door beside the battery control Click image for larger version

Just this weekend, I traced the wires inside the front of the coach and found the one gray wire that was feeding the front LED lights connected to the awning lights. Cut the wire. Problem solved. Your solution looks good as well.

Has anyone else had problems with the FR3 tripping breakers while using 30amp service? With my 2015 FR3 DS30 it seems like when we have the AC and pretty much anything else on, it trips the breakers at the campground.

Is it the Park breaker or the MH breaker? I had to separate the AC breaker from the mini breaker since it tripped frequently.

I had the same problem. The factory puts either the AC on the main house fuse or on its own but next to the main fuse, depending on your year. Either way, the heat from this causes the breaker to trip.

FR put my AC on its own fuse and moved it to the opposite side of the box from the main and no more problems.
