I noticed this wire hanging from the upper driver's side corner of the windshield of. It appears to have a push button switch attached to the end. Does anyone have clue what this could be? This is on our new FR3 30DS.
Hello, it's the button to put to shade into program mode. If you look up the manufacture web site, they have instructions how to change the up/down settings for the front shade. Hopefully you will never need to, but a bunch of us had to do a recall on the shade. You can tuck it behind the side panel so it's not visible. I don't think your model is part of the recall. Hope this info helps
Do you have a 2017 FR3? If so, it probably does need the recall done. It can be done by you if your handy. Do a search for front shade recall. A lot of info and instructions on how to do it.
