Need Help With Cable TV

Staying a few months at local RV Park in NC. Called time Warner Cable for TV and Internet Service. Tech came out and ran cable from box on pole to my connection in rear bay. Tech ahd great signal at pole box and at end of his Coax cable but when we plugged it in there was almost no signal coming from the coax connection behind my TV. Thoughts and Help Please

Trace the cable as best you can and look for loose splitters and connectors. Pull the wall plates and do the same. I have found coax connectors behind some removable panels in very strange places inside the RV and in the storage bays. Good luck!

Check to see if you have the amplifier for the over the air antenna turned on. If it it, turn it off & re-scan for cable channels.

The coax from your park cable connection is a direct run to one of the three connectors on the rear of the booster plate.

The three connectors on the rear of the plate are for park cable input, OTA antenna, TV output 2, the front connector is TV output 1.

Have the tech check the signal by removing the booster plate and determining which coax is from the park cable input.

Not sure I follow..The FR3 TV in the Living-room/kitchen area has a cable that comes out of the wall into the TV and I have not ever removed it for either PArk Cable or Antenna use. I have not connected the TV ever to the coax located on the booster wall plate. Is this where the cable should be connected for Time Warner?

No the front connector and the TV2 connector on the rear provide the same signal. In many cases, the booster plate is nearby one of the TV’s so the front connector is used for that TV. The rear is then routed through the coach utilizing spliters to the rest of the TV’s. In your case ot appears all TV’s are fed off the TV2 connector via spliters. All works the same, just a different way of routing the coax cables.

Does time warner require the use of a set top box or other converter.

If TW requires the use of a box then a splitter could be causing the issue. If it does not, then it should have worked when connected to your park cable input as long as the booster was off. Of course you would have to scan for channels on the TV.

Oh boy we just went through this And I wish I had paid more attention ... but something like this... the coaxial cable was hooked into the electrical bay drivers side back compartment .. then that coaxial cable box with the booster on the top left of the entrance... had to come off the wall and there was a problem behind that
