Is the cover black or brown? the brown would be made of the same sofa material. see if the top of the sofa folds forward. If it does this will make into a jack knife sofa, but has one or two more steps then a traditional jack knife sofa. if you have questions feel free to call me at 567-274-8974 and I can try and walk you through it.

I previously owned a FR TT with a jackknife sofa bed. You have to pull the top towards you and the bottom slightly up and out at the same time. Be gentle or you could dislodge it and scratch the side panels.

After lots of back and forth our couch was replaced last week and it works as it is suppose to. The original one was defiantly not a jackknife couch.

I've got a similar question, I think I have a jackknife sofa but am not sure. Attaching pix in the hope that someone can tell me how to work this thing.
