New FR3 - Question about outside TV & speaker

I just picked up my 2016 FR3 30DS this weekend and have a question. The outside TV does not appear to be connected to the outside speakers. Is this correct? Does anyone know the trick to getting the TV to play thru the speakers?

Thanks,

I have a 2015 and I push button "B" on the entertainment system to engage the outside speakers.

Ours is controlled through the Blueray player. There are A and B speaker buttons, B controls the outside TV.

When I picked up my 2015 a couple of weeks ago, I could not get the TV to play thru the Home Theater unit. I looked at the back of the TV and found that the L/R audio jacks were in Audio In jack holes vice Audio Out. I switched them and then was able to get the TV to play on the external speakers. It's the Genesis unit that plays the sounds to all the speakers.

Yes, they are controlled by the speaker selection on the DVD player, BUT not all units are wired so the TV plays through the sound system. that requires an additional hard wire between the TV and the Player.

On the 2016 you must have the dining room TV on to play on the speakers. On the radio chose the AV input rgb.

Thanks for all your responses. This has been very helpful. I am going to look at the audio input connections on the outside TV through the wall opening under the kitchen sink. I will bet there are no audio cables connected. If this proves correct I can either wire the TV into the Pioneer AV system. Or, my best bet is to tune the TV in the living area to the same channel as the outside TV where I can then listen to the outside TV via the outside speakers. Go figure.

I thought the outside TV was wired wrong as well, but the three wire audio- video cable should be wired with the yellow to Video In. The red and black connections should go to audio out. This allows the TV to play through the outside speakers instead of the TV speakers.
