New to me 2016 FR3 30DS

Just picked up my Girl, and drove it home. I have had 3 other Motorhomes, but this one has to be the nicest for the price point. I have gone through all the FR3 pages here and have learned a monumental amount information. As long as I can retain most of that, I will be in good shape and the Wife Unit will be happy. Going to load it up this weekend and take it out to a nice RV park and give it a shake-down. Good thing Wally World is close buy, for the forgotten things. You Guys and Gals are super with all your knowledge.

NICE!

We looked at the FR3 line, but DW wanted the bunk space for storage, so went with our Sunseeker. But, that 30DS really looked good when we were considering going up from a TT.
The 30DS has the same basic floor plan of our Sunseeker 3010DS, but you have one thing I wish we REALLY had.... the King sized bed. Our Queen just isn't making it with 2 dogs that like to sleep with us!

Congrats

Congrats on the new 30 new 30DS. We purchased ours in April and absolutely love it. We've been out 5 times already and get so many great comments about it. The one thing I really like about it is the ease with which I can set it up. I'm sitting in the sling recliner with my favorite beverage about 40 minutes after we arrive at our site. Not too bad for a newbie! I totally agree with your comments about this forum, the information in here has been invaluable. We've already made several personal mods and handling mod based on the info shared here. Absolutely DO the CHF.

We bought a 2016 FR3 last year and found it is perfect for two people with the king-size bed. The other bed conversions from the sofa and dining table don't work well for anyone over 5 feet - too short! Other than that it is a wonderful RV - no complaints!
