No water coming from kitchen sink
Hi all,
I'm out right now, in So Cal flat lands so freeze is not an issue, hooked to a city line, getting no water and no sound, air, gurgle, etc..., from kitchen sink. All other lines are fine. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Check the water faucet aerator screen, it may be plugged with debris.

Holy smokes, that is all it was. I thought I'd at least get a gurgle and a drip if that where the case, but there was debris completely blocking a tiny hole in some plastic part. Thank you Ford Idaho!

Be aware it is mostlikly going to clog bathroom sink aerator and toilet valve too.

Is the toilet valve easy to clean? Or is it a replace?

Very east, no tools needed.
I use a plastic tooth pick (the one that has a 90* bend on the end) to do the cleaning.
You'll need a small bowl to catch the water when you take the hose off, don't forget to turn the water off .

Grotto69 - on my FR GTXL, the valve for the toilet snaps in place at the rear of the toilet, making it relatively easy to remove/clean/reinstall. Had to clean out the screen in the valve two weeks ago after it clogged on the first day of our beach camping trip.
Antone - if you have not done so recently, when you get home you might want to check the anode rod in your water heater. Mine was pretty much eaten away and the resulting debris is what clogged the toilet valve.
Attached is a picture of a new anode rod on the left and my eaten up anode rod the right.

Thank you for all the info! I did notice decreased flow coming from the toilet valve, so I'll clean that out and check the anode rod as well. We had our FR Cherokee Lite 28A+ TT for 8 years and used the heck out of it, never had to do anything besides tires, brakes, bearings maintenance, we were spoiled I guess. The moho has been a new learning experience and I appreciate the great help everyone provides here. It's great stuff for everyone to know.

It helps to flush the crud out of water heater at least once a year.

Why don't you put a water filter on your hose when filling it or if using city water hook it to it

I do use a filter, but it may be time for a new one plus a new anode rod. Most trips have been local to So Cal. Our water is not great.

Youroo - Your question has been posed before and has been the subject of various forum discussions. Some people swear the toilet is served by hot water, others, not so sure. As far as I can determine, the issue has never been resolved. It does seem that sediment from the hot water heater tends to frequently find its way to the toilet before kitchen and bathroom sinks. As they say "go figure".

The stuff I found was plastic from drilling holes in water tank during manufacturer.

Mine plugged up the toilet. Cleaned it all out and blew the lines with an air compressor. The anode rod corroded and clogged it up. Changed the anode rod and all good after that.
