One more thing to check

Drove through 40 mph gusts in OK on the way to AZ spring training, diverted to Dallas to miss the worst of it. The cross winds were so powerful they pulled the power awning out slightly. No problem, I noticed it when we stopped for gas and it rolled right back up. Maybe 1" loose at the very top.

So if it's real windy give the awning a shake when you gas up.
