Overhead bunk not coming down all the way

We just bought a brand new 2018 FR3 32DS a few weeks ago. We have taken it on 2 short weekend trips with no issue. Yesterday I got in turned generator on to start packing for our long trip and the over head bunk would only come down several inches and stop. The left side seems to come down and the right side not almost like it is off sync. It has power and fuses seem fine. We leave in 2 weeks and not sure our dealer will be able to get approval to fix under warranty before we leave. Anyone have any ideas how we can fix it ourselves to have for the trip? We have small kids and need this bed area. Thank you in advance.

Remove the small panel that the switch control is on. Check the wires. Couple of weeks after I got mine the awning quit & found a unplugged wire on switch. I just pushed it back on the switch.

The bunk has two solenoids that need power to unlatch the bunk before it can lowered. Do both solenoids retract?

How you find a simple fix.

you need to 'sync' the motors, since one side is obviously off: when it does not come down all the way, immediately take it back up to the top, and visa versus until it eventually gets in sync and goes all the way.

No dealer required.

and, make sure you have pulled any 'pins', if any.

If the motors are not in synch they will burn each other out. The header plate above the bunk has to come out to access the motors.
