Permanent Water Filter

Hey all you FR3 owners. Has anyone installed a permanent water filter? My thoughts are to install one either in the "low point drain" compartment or under the kitchen sink.
Any thoughts, info, pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting idea. We just use a filter at the point outside at the spigot, so the water traveling through the hose to the RV is already filtered.

Don't understand what would be different than the one already factory mounted. It filters all the water from the fw tank and city.

Old Coot. What factory installed filter?

Jegncjg. I also use a filter attached to the hose when I fill the few tank. Also have one fixed to the sink faucet. Just thought I'd add a permanent. I do realize it would need to be installed to the cold line only.

Not a problem OldCoot. A factory installed filter would have been nice.
