It looks like you have 2 AC units. Did you buy it that way or did you have that installed? If you don't mind me asking, was it expensive?

New pics from our last adventure to CO. Visited Big Meadows campground in the Rio Grande National Forest. While a little wet, it was very enjoyable. Quite a bit of privacy since the campgrounds go up the hillside. Bummer the pine beetle ruined quite a bit of trees, but at least we had a great view of the lake. Generator fixes worked great. New water intake mod filled up the water tank perfect. And enjoyed the speakers in the cockpit too. Next trip will be the balloon festival in NM. Should be fun!

Faith restored...just a few more fixes!

After blowing two wheel bearings and a host of first-year issues, we finally completed our first major (2750+ miles) trip (15 days, 12 states). FR3 did great through torrential rain and storms, 100 degree days, and hills/mountains of PA and TN. A few notes:

MPG: 7.1 over 2750+ miles while averaging 63 mph, towing our CrV, always running generator, and up and down hills/mountains.

HP/torque: I had no issues getting up and over the hills/mountains of TN, PA, WV, VA, etc. It was our first trip out of flatland and I was surprised how very well the FR3 powered over the hills. I'm sure going out West is a whole different experience.

Generator: Quit running three times. Twice when we stopped for refueling with an air temp of 95 degrees and a third time in slow traffic through Atlanta when the air temp showed 102. I need to do the vent fix.

Broke: Only the windshield wiper fluid and intermittent wipers (regular wipers work).

Very happy with how the FR3 did. A year of fixes and finally I feel like we have a reliable unit that will get us where we want to go (and back!).

Here is a pic of the Youghiogheny River we camped on and at the Delaware Seashore State Park.

Yeah, we picked it up secondhand and heard the backstory was that it was meant to have a graphic wrap on it and ordered that way from the factory. Also has blacked out wheel simulators which is pretty neat. Its grown on us now and we sort of like it plain jane.

Soberanes Fire shut down Pfieffer Big Sur SP and our trip. Second time in the last 8 years. Bummer, the park did not burn, but the fire was too close for comfort. We had Morro Bay 1 night, Pfieffer 6, Pismo 1, now a staycation.

That fire is causing a lot of havoc! I wouldn't have stuck around either. Better safe... Many a trek up Hwy 1 are being cancelled. 😞
