Professional Tinted Windows

Has anyone had the FR3 windows tinted? If so, how, and by whom? Thanks

Nelly

Not a FR3, but paid a local RV shop to do our 3011DS. I had the driver, passenger and large rear window done in 20 % tint. Looks great from the outside, and looking inside out its hard to tell it's even there.

I paid $ 30.00 a window (large rear is three panels of glass).

Hopefully I can get the RV back over there again to get the windows done behind the dinette and recliners as it does knock down the heat !

I did all of our windows and it was a blessing. They keep 70% of the heat out and yes hey look great from the outside.

Have you done it in the past? How hard was it? What product did you use?

Did all of mine. Definitely an improvement for privacy and to reduce heat during the summer. The glass on the coach door was reversed so the tint could be on the inside and on the smooth portion of the glass. No light comes through the door window anymore which is something we like. I highly recommend tinting if you enjoy
privacy and want to reduce heat.

The screens were easy to take off and a pain to get back on our 3011. We also used the darkest tint possible on the coach and did a 20% reduction on the cab. Ours was done by velocity tint in Grover Beach, Ca. Took all day to complete but the job was done well. I have no complaints.
