Quick question

We are looking at buying a vw golf to tow behind our 2015 30ds... that means a dolly... do we have to worry about the tongue weight

The tongue weight will be very low. We tow a Saturn and the tongue weight is very low. We do use a dolly with electric brake for safety in stoping.

No, but you will need to make sure the tongue is level. I have bought a Master Tow 80THD with electric brakes. I already have an Trailer Brake Controller installed.
