Radio Antenna

Can someone tell me how to lower the radio antenna so I can put the cover on the motor home for winter storage. I don't want to put a hole in the cover.

If it is on top I remove the screw and pad the remaining part with a foam block or old pillow on my 5er. Not sure if this is where yours is located.

There is a small phillips head screw attached at bottom. Just remove it an dont lose the screw.

Mine also had a screw on it that allowed it to be loosened and laid down parallel with the roof.

Radio Antenna

Just leave the antenna down all the time. Mine hit a tree branch somewhere along the line and pulled the screws out and pulled the cable out of the connector. My buddy's FR3 apparently had the same thing happen because there was an obvious patch in the caulk. Radio reception is not affected by laying it down.
