Rats in the dog house

Started out to Yosemite this morning and as we were leaving the "check engine light" came on. Called the Ford Truck Center and they said bring it right in. They did a quick test on it and found an engine Knox sensor defective. Opened up the dog house and found rodents had chewed through most of the wiring. Fortunately even though they were swamped they made the time to get it repaired and get us on our way. Just a warning that rats love wires. We learned the hard way. We store our FR3 in the city lot which is next to an open field. I should have taken the cue when my German Shorthair Pointer wouldn't get her nose away from under the coach. Lesson learned.

Had that happen almost 30 years ago. 1986 Ford Taurus mice chewed the wiring harness. Big $$$. Ins. Said as long as Ford could document it was done by a rodent they would cover repair.
