Recall for roof leak

Just had the roof recall done and the sealant is like silly putty. Leaves, pine needles and sticks get stuck and embedded in it. Is this how it is suppose to be?

Roof

I already had the fix done. My question is the caulking is still sticky and now has things embedded in it, is the normal?

Our caulking was like soft putty for awhile, but finally firmed up. I had to pick pine needles out myself. It has not got hard like silicone sealer.

Just had recall performed on my 32DS, same situation sticky caulking and still leaks. Water leak has affected wood frame on overheard bunk bed. Also water in wall board. Having so much fun with taking motorhome back and forth to dealer for repairs.

At least mine never leaked. Sorry to hear about yours leaking. I guess I'll just be picking sticks and pine needles out of the caulking.
