Removing Chassis Battery from Disconnect ADVANCED QUESTION
Hey there RV wizards,
Is there anything outside of the battery boost and alternator charging of the house battery, I would lose if I disconnected the chassis battery from the disconnect unit? I installed lithium batteries and I don't want the alternator charging them every time the disconnect senses a low battery and connects the chassis and coach together. I looked over the schematic of the disconnect and I see some chassis components connected but not sure where they get their power. I am thinking about installing a BIM 225.
