Removing Love Seat and Replacing.

Has anyone removed the love seat from your FR3? Did you have any problem getting it out the door. Did it fit through the door? What is under the love seat? (Does the floor extend under the love seat?) Thank you for any comments.

We have a FR3 30DS and replaced the sofa with a repro reclining love seat w/center console. There was nothing under the sofa but flooring. Took the mattress off the sofa and bungled it so it wouldn't open up. Only a few brackets to remove. Had to take one end of the door strut off and remove the small legs on the sofa. It came out after that but it was tight. The repro fit into that space with room to spare..... A little longer reach for feet to hit the floor but so much more comfortable than the sofa!

We have a 2016 30DS and also replaced the sleeper sofa with theater seating. On ours, the back of the sofa came off with a little persuasion. The back attached using a "fork" design connection with the the base. It will separate with some force. This made it easy getting the sofa out the door without any door disassembly. The new seating also had removable backs for easy installing.

We also experienced our feet not touching the floor, so I built a foot rest out of 2x4's and plywood and covered it with a piece of carpet. It fits perfectly in front of the new recliners and also functions as a step up for access to the storage cabinets.
