Reservoir for hydraulic fluid for the jacks

Where is the hydraulic fluid reservoir for the levelling jacks located on a 2016 FR3? Do I need to change the fluid from time to time. Anything I need to be careful of when I do change or add to it?

I asked that question a while back and someone was kind enough to point me in the right direction and even took a picture for me. I swapped out 1/2 of the fluid due to popping issues. It helped some. I need to go do another quart to see if it helps more.

It's in the compartment next to the propane tank. If checking the fluid level be sure the jacks are retracted. There is a level gauge attached to the cap. It's never a bad idea to service or change the fluid but, I've been told by more than a few sources that it is unnecessary unless you notice that fluid gets really dark. Only thing about adding.....don't overfill and don't spill (lol).

ATF is that so? I would have never guessed to use ATF. I almost bought some hydraulic fluid from the tractor fleet store but didn't because the color wasn't red.

That is so. You made a wise choice not buying that hydraulic fluid.

See attached from Lippert on adding anti stiction fluid.. It includes what fluids are recommended. This is to reduce popping.
