Ride Handling Package for FR3

Hello,
wondering if anyone has taken the plunge and invested in this package. We have a 2016 30DS and the ride could use some improvement in my opinion.

ride

We installed,
1. SS trac bar
2. super steer steering stabilizer
3.sumo springs on front and rear.

These things were done in this order and each item made a difference.

The ride is good and the handling is great.

Thanks for all the great replies, unfortunately I'll have to find a shop to do it for me. I'm a very handy woman around the house, however have no experience of crawling under a vehicle and making major modifications.

Ride

I did the following in the order shown:

Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer
Front and Rear Roadmaster anti-sway bars
Trak Bar
Sumo Springs front and rear

The Safe-T-Plus was put on for safety reasons rather than for ride performance, but it did make it less prone to wander.

Both sway bars made a big difference in windy conditions and when confronted with passing trucks.

Trak Bar also made a significant improvement when hit with wind gusts.

Biggest improvement was from adding the Sumo Springs.

I drive a lot of curvy, narrow, two-lane roads with lots of dips and uneven surfaces. I'm also confronted with a lot of passing trucks and wind gusts.

As EDM reported, my handling is now really good and the ride is great.

I will admit that I probably could have done the CHF, not put the anti-sway bars on, and wound up with pretty much the same ride given the other improvements. it was just my preference to go the route that I did.

Just finished installing rear sway bar, front sway bar and reflex steering on 2017 FR3. Wish I could say it helped but have not yet had chance to take it out for drive. Heard it will improve drive immensely. My next step is to install Sumo springs, great things being said about them also.

Suggest you go on to E-Trailer web site and read the testimonials from owners who have installed the product, also they have videos showing before and after install handling of the coaches. Probably be enough right there to convince you.

Not sure I would buy the full package they offer, why not try front and rear sway bars and steering reflex first and add on from there? Maybe some savings buying full package but do you really need all that?

Ok cool! Iíll look into it. Iím following another thread that talks about newer coaches having the Morryde upfit. Mine is a 2018 30DS and has this upfit. Does that change the usefulness of the CHF?
