Drivmsafe, I saw a FR3 down in Quartzsite last month! They are sneaky beasts, so very hard to find.

Brewster, from the talk here on the forum I understand that there were a few FR3 owners that wanted to get together in Quartzsite during the RV tent show week. We were supposed to go but, family illness got in the way.

Drivmsafe, we were supposed to go but missed it because I got sick and spent 9 days in the hospital over the holidays! We ended up in Quartzsite at the end of the RV show!

Brewster, Looking back at the postings, I see you're the one that started the "Q" talk. Sorry to hear you ended up in the hospital.

That's good to hear Brewster.
Isn't that RV park in the Pacheco Pass area? Someone told me about it not too long ago. You'll have to let me know how it is.
Our "Beasty" as my wife & grand kids call the FR3, is in having the Safe T Plus stabilizer installed as we speak. Looking forward to seeing how it improves the handling. As soon as I bring it home I'm planning on adding the screening to the grille.

Drivmsafe, I went with the blue ox true center and it made a big difference. We also added a invertor system. CASA DE Fruita is nice and centrally located to take day trips to the ocean etc. Yes it's located in the Pacheco Pass, nice this time of year!

Brewster. I vacillated between the Blue Ox true center and the Safe T Plus. It came down to that I got a fantastic deal on the Safe T Plus that I couldn't pass up.
I also added a 1000W inverter and an automatic transfer switch.
After the grille, I'm going to install a 5"x5"x6' post under the coach behind the gas tank to store the dump hose.

Drivmsafe, installed 2 5x5 posts over the Propane tank, that way I don't have to stoop down. The front grill is a must have! Looks like we are all set!!

Brewster. After much consideration, I opted to go with your idea. I was surprised to see as much room on top of the propane tank. The 6' post spanned across near the battery compartment and I was able to tie strap it to the small angle pieces. Sure saved me from having to drill into the frame and use brackets.
I had seen post of others that did similar but your post rattled my cage and made me look at It closer. Glad I did.
THANKS!!

Drivmsafe, like you said, I had seen the idea else where on this forum and it got me to thinking too and it really was easy to do. We are currently at Casa DE Fruita since last Thursday so go a chance to use the mod and really works great, very handy.

No problem FireSurf. Hey, I see you're from Corona. Welcome neighbor. Upland here. There's another FR3 owner not too far from you in the Esatvale area.

johnpisue. It's a piece of 1/2" pvc cut to fit between the 4" gutter rail I used to lay the hose in. It's capped at the ends and I drilled a small hole at each end and used a 4 1/2" machine bolt to hold it in place. It works as a drawer handle to pull the hose out.
