Roof balloon
Here I am on the road in Amarillo TX. My roof decided to self inflate from the front of the rubber liner back to the king jack antenna.
I last checked my roof yesterday before leaving Colorado.
My rig is a 2016 30ds. Warranty expired. 2 days of hard driving to get home.
I know it could suck more but, damn....

If you can find an RV store, buy some Eternabond and seal across the front opening. You may be able to salvage it or at least prevent more damage.

Disconnect radio antenna or lay it down. A hole may have been popped opened

Wow OldGunny! I hope you'll keep us up to date on this issue.
I also have a 2016 30DS and was noticing some bubbling along the edge of the roof line. My dealer took pictures and sent them to FR for assessment. FR said that the roof on my unit was installed correctly and that the bubbles along the edges are there to accommodate flexing of the roof without tearing the material. I definitely will be keeping an eye it.

We lost our roof 2 years ago on our 2016 30ds. The problem started with the radio antenna and the sealer around it. Fr replaced the entire roof under warranty . They know they had a problem and they took care of it. Check the radio antenna and remove it and reseal it. We did not let them put the antenna back up there. Good luck.

The eternabond and duct tape got us back home.
Now we are going to contact FR and ask them why this happened. I don't expect to get anywhere with them, but who knows. It is worth a try.
Also, I never had any small bubbles. Mine went from flat to balloon.

I had the same problem with a Thor product - not a Forest River MH. I used a lot of gorilla tape. It got me home. Upon repair I learned the manufacturer just did not use enough adhesive.

I had been working with my insurance company regarding the roof.
The adjuster called me today and told me he has spoken with Brian Knight, who apparently told him that there is a known issue with the tan colored roofs on our coaches.
Those of you who posted here saying yours is bubbling, and ballooning, I would recommend you also contact FR. I have emailed and am awaiting a reply.

Today I received an email from Brian Knight telling me to take the coach to an authorized FR dealership. The dealership is to contact him directly and send pictures.. Then we get to find out whats next.

For those that have the roofing issue, here is a brief update.
(I am appalled at how slowly things move in regards to insurance companies. This is my first ever claim.)
After having the other repairs that needed done, from the storm, we finally got the RV to an authorized RV dealership (Carpenter's Campers in Pcola FL).
Carpenters is going to send photos to FR for a decision. I will let yall know, when I know.
