Screen Door Cross Bar Handle Not Wide Enough

Anyone out there have a similar experience that I have with my Screen Door Cross Bar Handle I purchased.
I made the mistake of purchasing a Camco Silver Push Bar that extends from 21 1/4" to 28 5/8" in length. (Seems all the versions are the same "length". I thought (stupid me) that the screen door was "standard" width. NOT

However my screen door on my FR3 33DS is wider by 2 inches. I cannot mount this "standard" unit on my screen door. When extended as far as possible the mountain brackets do not reach any mountable area.
I need one that extends at least 30"

Anyone have a solution? Another Company/Brand or item that can be used?

Seems most of the universal ones that "fit most doors" are up to 28" and some change. Camco does make wider ones but a Google search shows there are other brands.

Example:

I installed Amazon: Camco Screen Door Cross Bar Handle - Allows For Easier Exit And Protection RV Screen Doors with Sturdy and Secure Grip - Wider Width (White) (42189) on my FR3 door. Works great.

we have a 2019CC 36rl2 that has a wider door than std. and I bought that same handle but did not like the three bars so I bought the Camco screen door handle, shaped some hardwood pieces to fit tightly inside the open end of the tube and left a little out of the tube to fit in the handle then screwed the wood in the tube and into the handle. Works great and is very strong .

Door Handle Solution

Two attached pics worked well for us. Sand down sharp edges pre-drill holes, works great.

Add a filler

Add a small piece of metal to the back side of the door and install to it.
