Screen door latch

Does anyone know if it is right hand or left hand? Mine broke, need to replace it.

Thanks!

So I don't sound like a complete moron, I just don't know if you make the determination from inside, RH, or outside, LH, the rig.

From outside. However; it appears all manufacturers do not follow the same rules and therefore it's better for you to google for your latch image and the place where you are going to order from.

This is probably the standard:

First, the SIMPLE WAY to determine door handing... IF YOU ARE REPLACING AN EXISTING DOOR: With the door open, stand with your back against the hinge jamb. If your left hand is nearer the doorknob, then the door is LEFT-HANDED. If your right hand is nearer the doorknob, then the door is RIGHT-HANDED.
