Screws don’t hold on air-conditioner cover

Hello, cover for our AC popped off. The six screws don’t seem to hold anything at all. Any good suggestions.

If you are talking about the inside vent cover, I noticed only 2 of the six screws were biting into anything solid. I was going to look at using plastic drywall anchors to see if they would fill the hold.

Sounds like a good idea. I’ll give it a try. Thank you

Gorilla glue. Use with water. It will fill the hole and the screws will hold
