Secret hidden bed thingy in FR3

I turned the king mattress around so the small end was in, now you can fold that up against the headboard and lay down across the foot or use it as a couch with the slide in

Surprise, I found a hidden folding panel under the head of the bed. It has a full length hinge so it will stand up and then it had two short hinged end pieces that fold in to keep it upright

In that mode and with the mattress turned around you get a couch with the slide out

Has anyone else seen this or know if this was the planned use? In case it is another in the evolutionary changes mine is a 2014 built in October 2013 and a 25ds

Gotta love it when you find things like this. almost feels like you got an "extra" thrown in.

This is why it`s always a good thing to play around with the new RV when you get it!

Like this......

Can anyone say how tall that platform is? I'd like to get rid of it if I can.

Yep. Our 243RBS has a small breakfast bar. While we looked at several models with different inside colors, the one we chose did not have bar stools, while the others did. the one we chose also had a television. We figured the stools were cheaper than buying a television. I tried talking the sales person into grabbing the stools from another camper, but no go.

During the PDI, the stools were never mentioned. I get our new TT home and for several days, I'm just exploring. I had no idea there was a storage area under the queen bed in the bedroom.

Inside were the bar stools.
