Sewer pipe stowage

On my FR3 32DS I got 2 4" DWV pipe in the area over the propane tank. I zip tied them to the steel tubing on the underside of the floor. They are installed at about 15 degree slant so the sewer hose will not slip out. There are end caps on the lower end with 1" holes in the caps for any drainage needed. I use PRESS TO FIT sewer hose fittings because they are a smaller o.d. than most fittings & slip in the 4" pipe very easily.
I also used a LARGE zip tie to tie around the center of my sewer elbow to connect a carribiner clip which I clip to an eye bolt. This keeps all the sewer hose & fittings away from anything else.

Good idea,

I thought of that also, but my 32DS doesn't have a hollow rear bumper.

I store ine in the same place on my 25DS. I also have a second plastic fence post that holds a collapsable full size ladder.

Many solutions

There's been quite a few great solutions posted for sewer pipes in the FR3s. Here's mine inspired by some of those posts. I happened to go over the jack hydraulic system.

The ONLY reason I didn't put the pipes over the propane tanks is so that the propane filler person doesn't have to see/smell the pipes when filling. I also go in there for a 1"-20 grill hose attachment. Otherwise, it's a great location (at least in the 30DS).

so have built two 5x5" fence post w/cap. now looking to mount to the propane storage area. any recommendations on where to mount? zip tie both together then zip tie to the frame? or zip tie each individually to the frame? mounting will commence tomorrow as i ran out of daylight today...

love that i can get the slinkys out of a storage box and into the "air". and frees up storage space...

thanks forums!
