Slow Water Pressure

Hello everyone! I'm having issues with my kitchen faucet, the water is down to a trickle. Check the water pressure gauge, the water filter, took off the aerator and cleaned it, still nothing. The shower pressure is good, the bathroom sink, and toilet water flow perfect. Any suggestions? Do I have to take my new FR3 to the DR. Or can I fix it myself?

Nelly

If it just started but was fine before something may be in the lines or they got pinched or something. Is it the same for hot and cold?

Hi Dano1955, yes is both hot and cold. There is so much stuff in the cabinets to remove in order to look at the pipes. I'm concerned if I play with the connection it may get worse. And we are not even near our dealer in Florida. We are in Washington State right now.

Just my thoughts on this, if it's both hot and cold lines and it was good before, it is probably not the water lines (unless something in the cabinet has pinched both lines) but rather something about the faucet or valves that the water lines are connected to.

You've checked the aerator and cleaned it out, but what happens if you leave the aerator off? Try running some water with it off, if you still have the problem, maybe try running a wire down through the faucet to see if it might be blocked.

Is this a single handle type of faucet? If it is a single handle the cartage in the center of the faucet may be plugged by stuff. You can remove the handle and then remove the cartage and see if it is blocked. You could just call a mobile RV repair guy and have him do it since you are still under warr.

There is a little screen that screws onto the bottom of the water pump, or inline with it. Check that to see if its clogged. Did you just de-winterize it or this just started out of the blue? Pump running (should feel vibration)?

Plugged kitchen faucet

I found my kitchen faucet to be almost not running at all. I unscrewed the filter at the end and cleaned all the debris from the screen. That fixed it.

Try that first.

Just wondering if you did like a winterizing with compressed air set to 40 lbs and see if you can blow out any debris but you will need a fitting on the city water inlet! You can buy what you need from camping world...just a thought!
