I think most here are just saying be careful of WHERE you purchase.
The problems the OP is having is due to CW in Akron, Ohio.......there are dealers out there who will do you right. In most cases, Forest River does an excellent job of backing their product.
Get your camper (not at CW Akron Ohio) and have fun.

RVOUTLET beat all prices and took care of all warranty problems in a timely manner. It does count to do your homework on dealers. I would never buy a unit from CW. BJ the service manager go's out of his way to make sure you are satisfied and returning customer. I guess that is why they sell a 100 units per month. One of FR largest dealers. Per FR themselves. No service charge at all. and also deeply discounted compared to any other dealer that I have found in Virginia...

We got our Georgetown from them. Got a fair value for my trade and some other things thrown in. We have been once for service a 3 hour drive. Our unit has had some issues, we see this weekend if they got it right.
Still need to get a Front end alignment and the AC blows warm air, I need to find a big ford truck shop, so far no luck.

Thanks again everyone for all the support and advise.
This is a really great forum.
I do have to reiterate that F.R., since I posted this has made several calls to me to remedy the situation with the door/locks. I should be receiving a new lock system and keys any day now in the mail. At this point I am satisfied with F.R. I may have had a few things wrong with my FR3 but I know you have to expect some problems. I am mostly upset about the way C.W. service has handeled this. I know this is their busy time but felt considering the situation of the $995.00 prep charge and walk through bust out they would accomadate me with looking sooner then June 15th at a camera system that does not work on a new unit that they had sitting in their dealership for over a month before I picked it up after purchasing it at a slower time in February.
I think C.W. should refund me the $995.00 that I paid for a prep charge that they obviosly did not do, with all the probelms with my unit. If they did actualy do anything they would have know what was wrong. And again I am speaking about C.W. in Akron, Ohio.
