Squeaky leveling jack and stairs

Hi,

We have a leveling jack that squeaks when down with movement in our 2015 30DS and the stairs squeak when used. What type of lubrication does anyone find to be the best to stop such squeaks?

Thank you!

All of our jacks will squeak from time to time. I would love to know if anyone has a solution for this as well.

You can lube the jack rams with a light oil. I do this about once a year. No squeeks from the jacks. Now the cab area when driving......

Check the bolts on the stairs. Thread locker is a friend.

ky25d, you have jacked up under the radio right? In addition, you need to reach up under the console and do a gorilla tape job on the wood support 2x4 to keep it from moving. this made all the difference in the world.

Havent tried the 2x4 reinforce. the foam tape in the grill killed the worst one. But on some roads we get a squeek up front. Wife wont let me search for while im driving.

Little update on the stairs. Kwikee Kwik Lube did the trick on the stairs, creak free even with the 240lb manchild that walks like King Kong using them. It's a grease based spray with the same qualities as a silicone based spray, water displacement, rust/corrosion prevention, but is supposed to not attract dirt. It's actually made specifically for this type of usage amongst others. I'll hit the jacks in the coming week.
