Thank you all for the suggestions. I'm heading from Indiana to Florida later today and going to see how much the wheel being turned to the right annoys me. The good news is at least I know I won't chew through the tires since I just had it aligned.

Steering wheel
A good wheel alignemen man will first find the steering box high spot and than adjust the toe-in with the tie-rod adjustment and then adjust camber and caster. This is how a wheel alignement should be done.

The steering wheel centering is not done via tie rods on the F53 chassis.

Still doesn't show a picture regardless. Have never seen a motor vehicle that did not have adjustable tie rod ends.

I believe this may be a correct statement for the F53 chassis:
"Doesn't work that way on a Ford F53 chassis. No tie rod ends. Just one center link end adjustment. No adjustment on the drag link".
I could be wrong.

Even Ford is not that retarded. Impossible to turn wheels without tie rod ends. Even lawn tractors have them.

What I was saying is there is no tie rod adjustment that can be made for centering the steering wheel and that is what this thread was addressing. At least that's what I've been led to believe by Ford. Here is the lube point locations:

#5 is the lh tie rod end and #6 is the rh tie rod end and both are adjustable and therefore can be used to center the steering wheel.

Someone just doesn't understand tie rod ends are threaded and can be adjusted. It looks like it would be a time consuming job on the F53 as the tie rod end would have to be removed from the tapered socket and turned, re-installed, checked and probably have to repeat the operation several times. Too much trouble for most shops, BUT THEY CAN BE ADJUSTED!

The pic only shows one end.
It is adjustable. We can't see the other end.
A simple pic would dismiss any arguments.

The diagram shows #5, lh tie rod end and #6 is the rh tie rod end and both are adjustable and therefore can be used to center the steering wheel.
Your picture even shows the lh tie rod end. As I said before, they are both threaded and are therefore adjustable. Q.E.D. or in Latin, "ut supra probatum est".

Call Ford and see if there's a left hand and a right hand tie-rod end........could be that the right tie-rod end is part of the cross shaft

Only if they have a turn buckle on each end.
If they are both threaded, with a single buckle, then the drag link must be turned, which will turn both wheels.
Just post a pic!

Regardless even without a turnbuckle, you just remove the nut on the tapered stud (with rubber boot) and remove the tie rod from the arm and turn it in or out to adjust. That's how they put new tie rod ends in the drag link.

That's how they are replaced..
But to hell, if I'm doing that on an alignment. To jack up the front, pop out the tie rod, spin it, lower back down, check the toe....
Loosen the turn buckle and rotate the drag link.
