But to hell, if I'm doing that on an alignment. To jack up the front, pop out the tie rod, spin it, lower back down, check the toe.... Loosen the turn buckle and rotate the drag link.

From the diagram and the picture, it looks like there are two independent drag links from the sector arm and to center the steering wheel, you would have to adjust each tie rod end independent of each other. Ford probably uses both ends with RH threads to save the expense of stocking a RH and LH threaded ends. Check with Ford and see if the part no.s are different. Regardless, IMO it's a funky design as was the "twin I beam".
