Steps and radio

Anyway to stop steps from coming in and out with radio on? I have a 2016 30 ds, entertainment center on dash and runs off chassis battery. So ignition must be on or accessory. Other than pulling fuse for it once steps down

There is a switch below the utility closet on the left as you enter motor home that stops the steps from coming in and out.

Doesn't work when ignition on accessory or on. I can see safety override when ignition is on or engine running, but on accessory?

Not step specific but this may help... My 2016 30ds has a rocker switch under the radio that lets you select what is powering the radio... The dealer originally said the ignition had to be on or in accessory until we found it. I'm not near my rv so I don't know how it affects the step situation, but it may help save your starting battery.

That was going to be my next answer. You can power the radio by using the house battery and the switch on the dash that says radio. Thus not needing accessory in the ignition.
