sway bars

For my 2019 fr3 30ds

I didn't like the drive, and already knew before purchase, I had to upgrade sway bars. Ordered from etrailer.com

Rear is add-on and doesn't replace anything existing.

Front is a replacement for existing sway bar, more beefy.

Both made great improvement. Driving through intersection, small turns, very little roll.

With basic mechanical skills, install was easy. Rear took a little extra elbow grease fit near shock since it close. etrailer makes real nice video's posted on youtube how to install. Couple hours for rear and 1 hour to install front.

Here's what I installed:
  • RM-1139-140 Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar for Motorhomes $493.95
  • RM-1139-146 Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Motorhomes $969.39

I had to call roadmaster to confirm parts for my unit as etrailer didn't have exact part lookup for 2019 model

Sway bar upgrades can really help with high profile vehicles. For those who don't want to spend $1500, just installing the rear sway bar (or upgrading existing if a different chassis) can have a very positive effect all by itself.

Remember though, heavy duty sway bars are a trade-off. Reduced roll in turns or from side winds but at the sacrifice of increased harshness of ride when one wheel encounters a dip in the road that the other side doesn't. Especially on front wheels that are suspended independently.
